We have lightly cleaned these negatives and scanned them emulsion side down (which gives the best focus on our scanner.) This results in an image which is flipped horizontally. Many of these negatives have labels etched into the emulsion; these labels are best read on the flipped image. We have posted the images straight from the scanner so that the labels are easily readable; the user may wish to flip the image horizontally before using it to get the most accurate image of the individuals in the pictures. Rensink Album A was assembled by John and Clora Rensink while stationed at Ft. Riley in 1938 and 1939. MHGS digitized the album. Rensink Album B was assembled by John and Clora Rensink.
