Handwritten label on back says "A Christian family of Cairo, Egypt, whom Lorna and I visited at Christmas in 1933. The mother was a sister of Bro. Barnabas Noas, an Egyptian evangelist who worked with our mission in Syria. The oldest daughter, standing between her two brothers, was married already & infanticipating. The second daughter did dress-making at home. The next daughter, Phoebe, worked at the YWCA. She took us to the Christmas dinner at the Y. She had studied in England. Next was Susan, a high school graduate who took us to the Museum where we saw Tutankamen's Tomb. Martha & Mary took us to the Great Pyramid & then at a Christmas picnic lunch with us sitting beside the sphynx. (Mary has the long curls)(She and Lorna rode camels) The two youngest were Naomi & Ruth."
