Richard Basore has provided us many interesing collections to digitize:
The Salmon collection of photographs are from a group of boxes of glass plate negatives. We have lightly cleaned these negatives and scanned them emulsion side down (which gives the best focus on our scanner.) This results in an image which is flipped horizontally. Rensink Album A was assembled by John and Clora Rensink while stationed at Ft. Riley in 1938 and 1939. MHGS digitized the album.

The Charles Smith material covers the life and family of Charles Smith of Halstead, with a focus on his career with the YMCA in France during WWI.
Smith Album A covers Charles Smith's experience during WWI.
Smith Album B covers Smith family in Halstead and elsewhere. This album was donated to the Halstead Historical Society and loaned to MHGS for digitizing.

The Salmon collection of photographs are from a group of boxes of glass plate negatives.
