July [rip] to attend Furniture market at Chicago. Stayed in Chicago for 3 days Grand Rapids 1 wk. Back Chicago 3 days. Home July 16-22. Mamma, Lyle, Marguerite, Olin left for July 2 9 a.m. in car. Arrive Coffeyville 9:30 p.m. Drove mud all drove [?]. Pulled out twice car no 2 (Continued on)”
