Handwritten label on back says "On our Sat. P.M. walk in Madaba we stopped at the building used as church & school by the missionaries. The school has been closed for lack of funds but I presume they use the room for some of the S.S. classes. The part in the shadow is used for church. A heifer or steer is crossing in the foreground but doesn't show much. Mrs. Smalley in center of group"
