- Snapshot of a bomb damaged village. Handwritten label on back says "…yours truly was taken in front of our son's apartment in Minneapolis while we were there at Christmas time. The lady in the picture is quite a wonderful person. Like 'Vanity Fair' it is a story without a 'hero.' (Rat bit him that nose at nite sleeping.) He was member of Chicago Ball Club. Mr. & Mrs. R T Brown." This is an item in a scrapbook.
